“Uranus…?” Seiya whispered.
Seiya couldn’t understand her actions. The day before,
Uranus was trying to kill her. But now, she was in Uranus’ arms, which made
Seiya’s face burn. She was too shocked and embarrassed that she just stood
there letting Uranus hug her.
The next second, Uranus loosed her arms and disappeared in a
flash.
What the…? Seiya was really puzzled; she
looked back to the rock to find Uranus but all she saw nothing.
Where is she? Seiya asked herself, but there was
no sign of the wind.
Knowing she couldn’t find Uranus from the lake, Seiya
dressed back into her uniform. She didn’t tire up her long hair since it was
wet.
It will dry soon in this crazy sun, she
thought, looking up at the hot sun.
Seiya went “home” again, with nothing to do. She had searched
for Uranus but failed to find her, not even her shadow.
All she could do was wait for Uranus
to come back.
Why did she hug me?
The question popped up again in Seiya’s
head, although Uranus only held her a few seconds, Seiya could still remember
the warmth from her body and the way she breathed.
Ah…stop thinking about it! Seiya scolded herself.
There was no use thinking about it, maybe Uranus just...wanted to feel someone
else.
Yeah, maybe she just wanted contact with someone. Seiya
thought and she believed this was the reason Uranus hugged her.
BOOM!!
Suddenly, a big bomb captured Seiya’s
attention; her eyes quickly searched for the noise and than she saw a mushroom cloud
(surely it was dry sand) rising from the air, in a distance from her.
Seiya quickly transformed into Sailor Star Fighter and
rushed to that mushroom as fast as she could. Her heart was beating fast; all
she could think of was Uranus.
When she arrived, she saw Uranus was standing there, with
her space sword on her right hand.
“Uranus?” Fighter called; she was glad that
Uranus wasn’t harmed.
“It’s over,” Uranus pointed at a black thing that was lying
on the dry sand not far away.
“That’s an invader, right?” Fighter asked. Uranus rolled her
eyes at Fighter and walked away without a word.
Fighter quickly chased Uranus; just as she was about to ask
Uranus where she was going, the black thing suddenly threw itself towards the
one who was nearest: Fighter. It grabbed Fighter’s back and exploded in the
very next moment, too fast for Uranus to stop it from happening.
BOOM!!
Another bomb blew. Uranus was shocked by the sound and she
turned her head right away.
She saw Fighter, no, Seiya, slowly fall down onto the dry
sand.
“Fighter!” Uranus screamed and raced to her.
She saw Seiya’s back was badly burned; the smell of burnt flesh hung heavily in
the air.
Uranus quickly pulled her up and dashed back home as soon as
possible. She wouldn’t let Seiya die.
Back on the red rock, Uranus carefully helped Seiya lie down
on the rock surface. Then, the red rock slowly glowed beneath Seiya’s body.
Clearly, this red rock had some kind of healing power.
Seiya’s painful grimace gradually turned to a peaceful expression.
Uranus felt a rush of relief when she saw Seiya’s face
change. She smoothed Seiya’s hair and smiled.
“Fighter, you will be fine…“ Uranus gently whispered to
herself.

Haruka found it hard to keep her eyes on the monitor. From
the time she started to search for Fighter, she began having short dizzy spells.
And it came minutely. She had no idea why this happened and each time her brain
went blank and the next second she felt dizzy.
“Haruka, are you alright?” Michiru was the first one to notice
Haruka’s strange behavior.
“I am…fine…” Haruka tried to smile at Michiru, but the
dizziness came again, which made Haruka lose balance.
She quickly held onto the table.
“Haruka, I think it will be better if you get some rest
first,” Michiru kindly suggest.
“No, I…. I am okay…” Haruka pulled herself up.
“Are you sure, Haruka?” Michiru was very worried.
“Yes,” Haruka replied and returned
her attention to the monitor.
“Maybe I can get you a drink, coffee or tea?” Michiru knew
Haruka wouldn’t give up her mission now. All she could do was help Haruka.
“Coffee please,” Haruka answered.
Michiru smiled and asked the other two before she left the room.
Another bout of dizziness attacked. Haruka
used her right hand to hold her head.
“What the hell is happening to me?” Haruka cried silently to
herself.

It took Seiya three days to recover from her wounds. And
during those three days, Uranus had looked after her day and night.
She had carefully cleaned Seiya’s
body with her wet back ribbon; she brought the “potato” back and cut it into small
pieces. Then she put the potato into water and let Seiya drink it. Even though
Uranus didn’t talk much, Seiya was very pleased with
her.
The red rock did save Seiya’s life. And now Seiya’s back was
almost perfectly healed. There were only few places where the new skin hadn’t smoothed
over.
“Here.” Uranus handed the potato to Seiya.
“Thanks.” Seiya took it and started her breakfast. Uranus
sat near her and also started to eat. Seiya was surprised first, and then she
was happy to know Uranus fully trusted her.
“Why did you come here?” Uranus asked after a short silence.
“I don’t know. The space time track brought me here.” Seiya
answered.
“Where do you come from?”
“To you, I come from the future.” Seiya smiled and continued with: “I was on my way to your Princess Serenity’s wedding, but got trapped in the space crack on my way there. I was hopeless but then I saw a light. I quickly went to it and when I came out, I was here.”
Uranus just stared at her; she even stopped eating her
potato.
“You don’t believe me?” Seiya took another bite of her
potato, acting as though they were discussing the weather.
“No, I believe you.” Uranus knew it was dangerous to believe
people from outer spaces. However, she couldn’t find a reason why Seiya needed
to lie to her.
