It
was a beautiful morning; the sun was shining softly on Crystal Tokyo.
Everyone
was ready to welcome the first guests.
Neo
Queen Serenity and Neo King Endymion were waiting at the door; surprisingly,
the first ones they greeted were…
“Congratulations, Master,” said a
man with long white hair.
“Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite, Kunzite…” Endymion
simply could not believe his eyes. All four of them were standing in front of
them, and all four of them were alive.
“From the mercy of our Neo Queen Serenity and Master,
we were reborn and have come to protect you again,” said Kunzite, the man with
long white hair.
“We will obey our King and Queen forever,” Zoisite
agreed; his was the man who tied up his curvy long brown hair at his back.
“With faith in our heart.” Nephrite added; he had
long, dark, wavy brown hair.
“We will fight for you until we die,” Jadeite
finished, his short golden hair shining under the sun.
“You four…” Endymion was so pleased that he could not
speak.
“Welcome to Crystal Tokyo, Jadeite, Nephrite,
Zoisite, Kunzite.” Serenity smiled.
And the four men gave their faithful kiss to the King
and Queen before they stepped into the castle.
“Who are those guys?” asked Haruka.
Of course, the outer Senshi don’t know who they were.
But the Inner Senshi knew them well; they had met each other when Silver
Millennium was
still there on the moon.
Minako quickly introduced the four men to the Outer
Senshi and then rushed to the door. The guests from the Planet Kinmoku had
arrived.
“Congratulations, Neo Queen
Serenity.” Princess Kakyuu was trying to give a smile, but she just couldn’t do
it.
“Nice to see you all! Princess Kakyuu, Maker, Healer
and Fight…” Serenity’s words trailed off; she couldn’t find Fighter.
“Where is Fighter?” asked Serenity. But Princess
Kakyuu just lowered her head, Healer looked away with her sad green eyes. Both
of them didn’t say anything.
“She was trapped by a time-space-crack. We…couldn’t
save her,” Maker answered as the other two didn’t want to talk.
“What do you mean…?” Serenity couldn’t believe it.
She was shocked. So were other Senshi when they heard Maker’s words.
“Please save her, Sailor Pluto! Fighter is still
alive. I beg you!” Princess Kakyuu ran to Setsuna. Setsuna quickly held her
before she fainted.
“Let her have a rest first,” Ami suggested.
Endymion told Serenity to stay with Princess Kakyuu;
he knew she couldn’t stand with a greeting smile to the coming guests. Serenity
thanked him and she went to the guest room, which was already prepared for
Kakyuu and the Three Lights.
Princess Kakyuu was lying on the bed; Yaten and Taiki
were beside her.
“Tell me what happened, Taiki, Yaten.” Serenity
asked. And Taiki slowly told them how they lost Fighter.
“The time-space-crack usually take people to another
space,” said Setsuna, ”But it will sometimes trap a person forever if he or she
didn’t find the exit.”
“Fighter can find an exit, she isn’t that stupid,”
Yaten cried.
“But it’s very hard to find her even if she found a
way out. Maybe that exit led her to outer space,” Setsuna patiently explained.
“My mirror could not find her in this time. It seems
she has gone to the past or future instead of other planets.” Michiru announced
after using her mirror searching for Fighter.
Yaten and Taiki’s faces were dark; they didn’t know
how to tell their princess about the bad news. After a minute of silence,
Serenity made a decision.
“It is time for us to go. Yaten and Taiki, tell
Princess Kakyuu not to worry too much. We will do our best to get Fighter
back,” Serenity said as she turned to Setsuna. Setsuna nodded her head and they
left the room.
The words did give the two lights a safe feeling.
They had a strong sense that they could trust what she said.
“She has become stronger and braver than the last
time we saw her,” Taiki observed.
“Yes, that’s why she can be a Queen now,” Yaten
agreed.
“Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna. Please help them find
Fighter. The wedding party will continue and you three don’t have to come.
Saving Fighter is more important. Ami will take care Princess Kakyuu. And the
others, please show your big smile to the guests so they will enjoy the party,”
Serenity ordered. She knew she couldn’t just sit and wait. She could not up set
the other guests since the party was just beginning.
Setsuna was back to the computer, which was almost as
big as a house. Taiki came to help as well. Saving Fighter had begun.
But it just like finding a needle in a haystack; it
would take years and years unless the needle gives a signal as to where it was
located.
Fighter was flowing in the darkness; she didn’t know
where she was. She felt weak and hopeless. She didn’t know how long she had
stay in this dark place because it already seemed like a year had past. She had
lost her time already.
“Will I die here?” Fighter asked herself. She closed
her eyes, the images of her memories appearing. From the latest to the oldest
memories, Fighter felt as if she were watching a video rewinding. And the video
that she was watching was her life.
“People always said they will see their life once
again in a fast rewind in their head when they are nearly dead. Is this what is
happening to me now?” Fighter wondered. But the next second she opened her
eyes.
“I can’t die here! They are waiting for me!” Fighter
shouted to herself. She couldn’t just leave Princess Kakyuu, and her closest
friends; Maker and Healer must be waiting for her. She could not wait here and
die; that was not the purpose she was given during her rebirth after the war
with Galaxia!
And in that moment, she saw a bright light; she
floated towards the light without thinking what it was.
After she pushed herself into the bright shine, she
found herself falling down onto the ground.
“Ouch, that hurts,” Fighter cried, realizing she was
covered in sand.
Fighter stood up and looked around. It seemed she had
come to a desert and there was no one there.
“This is the worst day of my life,” Fighter decided.
However, Fighter didn’t know she was already being
watched by a pair of blue eyes which were ready to attack her.
