“Looks like this is the exit,” Haruka cheerfully said.
“Let me see.” Seiya opened the door. As she stepped
across the threshold, the floor behind the door quickly collapsed. Seiya just
fell down without knowing what was happening. Luckily, Haruka reacted was fast
enough to catch Seiya’s hand; this stopped Seiya from falling any further, but
Haruka’s hand was Seiya’s only support.
“So, that is ‘The Death Door’.” Seiya smiled and looked
down at the dark black hole.
This is so weird…How come this house wants to hurt us? Haruka thought.
‘Let go of her and you can leave.’ A voice suddenly said.
“Looks like they want you to drop me.” Seiya smiled at
Haruka.
“Let go…? NO WAY!” Haruka shouted and used all her
strength to pull Seiya back to surface.
And when Seiya was safe, a bright light appeared. The
woman with a candle, which they met at the beginning, was standing at that
light. The woman smiled and said, “Remember the story that I told you before?
Those teenagers were trapped by the devils. Since they didn’t give up on each
other, they finally got out.”
Haruka helped Seiya to get up and they both left. Outside
the door, where the woman appeared, were many staff members thanking the
participants of the ride.
“Oh! Seiya and Haruka are coming out!” Shouted Usagi and
pointing to them.
“Are there anyone still in that house?” Haruka asked.
“Taiki and Ami are still there.” Replied Makoto
“Oh my god! Haruka is holding Seiya’s hand!!” Minako
exclaimed, as if she had found a new island.
“Ah!” Haruka quickly let go of Seiya’s hand. Seiya was
surprised that she didn’t mind Haruka holding her hand.
“Looks like Seiya and Haruka have become good friends.”
Smiled Princess Kakyuu.
“Yeah, I agree. Actually these two are so much alike,”
Usagi added.
After Taiki and Ami, the last pair came out, all of them
continued to play around until the sun set. Everyone was so tired and they all
went straight back to their rooms when they got home.
That night, it was raining cats and dogs. Haruka was
watching the raindrops hit the glass window on her bed. Her mind, however, was
not enjoying the rain. Instead, she was thinking about the ghost house.
Even at this moment, she still could not forget the
feeling of losing someone you love. In the ghost house, she saw Seiya was
dropping down. She really thought she would lose Seiya. She understood this was
just a one-side love, but now she realized how stupid she was for not telling
her love. If she really lost Seiya in the ghost house, she would have regretted
it forever. So, Haruka decided to confess before Seiya left the Earth.
Then, Haruka heard footsteps walking down the stairs. She
was wondered who wasn’t asleep at midnight?
So, Haruka went out of her room, softly went down stairs.
She saw the kitchen lights were on and went in. The first thing she saw was
Seiya’s back. Seiya was finding something.
“Are you hungry?” questioned Haruka politely.
“Oh! Hamm…no. I just want to find my cup,” Seiya replied,
slightly startled by Haruka’s sudden appearence.
“Your cup hasn’t been cleaned, you can use mine.” Haruka
took her cup to Seiya.
“Thanks. …Can’t sleep?” Seiya asked.
“How about you?” Haruka nodded and asked back.
“Me too. I just can’t sleep.” Seiya gave herself another
cup of water.
“I am going to take a leisurely ride, are you coming? I
won’t drive too fast this time.” Haruka saw the rain was weak now and her
night-driver’s soul was awake.
“Well, that’s fine with me.” Seiya put down the cup and
went with Haruka.
The two girls were in the car again. This time is
different because it was midnight. Different colored lights had made the city
look like a shinning land. And as the rain going weak, the night view had become
clearer. Haruka didn’t go downtown; she just kept on driving on the highway.
Seiya didn’t ask where was Haruka taking her. She was enjoying the night city.
After Haruka took a few turns, they were on the road on the hills. At last,
they reach the top and at the same time, the rain stopped.
“This place is…?” Seiya don’t know why Haruka parked the car
here.
“Just go out and see.” Haruka took the key out.
Seiya got out of the car before discovering this place
wasn’t only for a night-view of Tokyo; she could easily saw the bright stars
above. Since the heavy rain was just over, the sky was so clear that stars were
much more brighter than usual. Seiya fancied this beautiful view; she loved to
watch the stars on Earth.
“The wind is so much more refreshing than the in city.”
Haruka gave a deep breath. The unique smell of the after-rain glass had given
Haruka more courage to speak out.
“This place is great! How come I didn’t know this place
when I came last time?” Seiya was lying on Haruka’s car, watching the beautiful
sky.
Haruka stared at her; there were only starlights on the
hill, but Seiya’s blue eyes were very clear even when Haruka couldn’t see her
face well.
The smell of sweet Kinmoku got Haruka’s nose again, which made
Haruka go out of control with lust.
Haruka grabbed Seiya’s shoulders and gave Seiya a hard
kiss before Seiya even noticed what was going on.
Seiya wished to push Haruka away but Haruka used all her
strength and pressed down Seiya on the windshield. This made it impossible for
Seiya to move.
Haruka had kissed Seiya about 10 seconds and she slowly
released Seiya’s mouth; Seiya’s face had gone red by that long kiss.
“Are…are you crazy?” Seiya asked after a deep breath and
cleaning the saliva off her lips.
“…” Haruka didn’t answer; she knew she had done something
she couldn’t remedy.
“I want to go home.” Seiya hadn’t lost her mind, she knew
the only way to go back is by Haruka’s car.
Haruka understood her confession was a failure when her
eyes reached Seiya’s cold eyes.
They got back to the car, Seiya just looked at the other
side, willing not to see Haruka. Haruka kept the silence but she was so
distraught that she didn’t see it was red light and went through the
intersection.
The truck driver didn’t saw Haruka’s blue Ferrari either.
So, the two cars smashed up, and the hitting point was
Haruka’s driver seat.
Bang!
Sorry…Seiya…
